Sex between lawyers and clients 'is one of those issues that, when it comes up on the radar, generates serious debate. It is one of those things which attracts controversy.' Those in favour argue that lawyers should be forbidden sexual relationships with clients, just as doctors -- in a similar position of power -- are with patients. Those against say regulators have no business interfering with lawyers' personal lives." However, using sexual favors as pro-bono form of payment is still ok in the eyes of both clients and lawyers.
