"Handicapped adults are to be given hardcore porn bought by their carergivers in England. Social workers, carers, nurses and support workers will be told they must help adults with learning disabilities buy top-shelf magazines, videos or other sexually explicit material. Staff will be encouraged to go into sex shops or on the internet to obtain the porn. The guidelines from Lothian NHS Trust could be adopted across Scotland. Catholic Church spokesman Ronnie Convery said: 'It is irresponsible for any public body to be facilitating access to pornography. It degrades women and it degrades those who use it.'" The NHS response was that it was just as degrading to rob handicapped persons from any form of sexual pleasure they can get their hands on and that mastubation is a god given right.
